Billy and Sharon
Being able to do what you love is something to be thankful for…but what if being able to do what you love means serving people, giving hope and changing lives of street children? Honestly, I can’t imagine being that selfless, that’s why, I’m always in awe of social workers, volunteers, missionaries and the likes…and Sharon and Billy are few of those people that I have met in this lifetime, whose life will always be a wonder to me. I can only be happy when I found out about their relationship.
Sharon is the head of Children’s Garden that takes good care of street children while Billy is a missionary here in the Philippines. Can’t help but be thankful as I look back on their prenup shoot. There’s a big chance of rain on that day but it only rain after we’d finished with our shoot and the rain stopped when we shoot again at some street in Antipolo.

one of those few times that I got to shoot a night wedding…experiencing the challenge of low light, traffic, rain and not having enough time to shoot what i had in mind…on post processing, since Nikkie is the not-so-usual bride who prefers the color of the movie Twilight, i experimented a bit in trying to achieve her preferred color scheme 🙂

we’ll be uploading interesting weddings that i’ve got the chance to cover soon…i am one blessed individual to witness and cover a once in a lifetime event.
on top of my favorite shots are these photos taken on the 50th wedding anniversary of my friend’s parents…made me believe in the so-called forever 🙂
Orven and Princess Engagement Session
Not their original engagement session plan…they have arranged it at Intramuros, Manila but then, as they drive to the location, their car broke down and so my friend, Misty who also happened to be their coordinator (Passion Events) received a call from them to cancel the shoot and to not have the engagement shoot since they don’t have an available date anymore. Orven and Princess are based in Oman and they just came here for the wedding…so Misty and I understand the stress that they are going through. And so we told them that we will just go where they are since the time they have reserved in Intramuros have already passed, we will just shoot on any available location…It was so easy to say ok, let’s not have the shoot anymore, since this will not affect the rate that they have paid me but it’s something that my core being can’t take and I guess being in this industry for quite sometime, experiencing shit is not really new…but then, you just keep going with a smile and not let those stress reflect on the photos 😉
As a photographer, as I look back to this day, I am so glad that Misty and I insisted the shoot because I am one blessed photographer to capture two nice people in my camera.
